How do I pack my items?

Especially when it comes to electronic items, it is important that they are packaged safely so that they reach us undamaged. When shipping (including when shipping media), please make sure to choose sturdy outer packaging that is not too large so that the items in the package are not damaged and, if necessary, adequately padded. Your package should also be securely closed (if necessary, with a cross made of adhesive tape for more stability).

Important for Apple devices: Please be sure to remove the activation lock (Apple ID).

In order to securely ship your package: 
1. If you have the original packaging, pack the required accessories in the original box and close it as usual and without adhesive tape.
2. Wrap your device and the required accessories with or without the original box in at least three layers of newspaper or several layers of old wrapping paper or bubble wrap. 
3. Then pack the original box or the wrapped individual parts in a sturdy outer box and fill the cavities with crumpled newspaper or bubble wrap.
4. You can now simply seal the shipping box with some adhesive tape and stick the printed shipping label on the top so that it is visible. Alternatively, if you don't have a printer, tape it shut and show the QR code when handing it over to the packing station. That's it!
5. That's it! Your package is ready for shipping. We are looking forward to receiving it!

For added security, taking photos or videos of the device’s condition before preparing it for shipment and of the package (with the label clearly visible), may facilitate the claims process in the case that your device is damaged during transport.
